Unconditional Love

According to Wikipedia "Unconditional love is a term that means to love someone regardless of one's actions or beliefs."

It means no matter what a person does, your love to them will be never ending. It doesn't come with terms, rules, or obviously conditions.

The love that have for my children is unconditional. And I think back to my own life, and realize that there are people that should have expressed unconditional love, and were unable. Because of their own shortcomings, baggage, or issues.

What sort of love do you have for your child?

Now that you've answered that for yourself. How are you showing your child that? How are you preparing yourself for the test of your unconditional love?

“The greatest gift a parent can give a child is unconditional love. As a child
wanders and strays, finding his bearings, he needs a sense of absolute love from
a parent. There’s nothing wrong with tough love, as long as the love is
unconditional.”
~ George Herbert Walker Bush

  2. Hi, Thanks for stopping by my blog and following me :) I'm following you back. I haven't been feeling up to par lately so I've slacked on my commenting but I'll get back in the blogging loop as soon as this stupid cold goes away!!

I love my kids unconditionally. One thing I like to say when mad at them though is "I love you but I don't like the way you're acting lately!" lol.

  3. On a side note if you insist on having word verification you might want to change from comments below the post to a pop up or full page view. Something about The Cutest Blog On The Block templates and embedded comments below the post don't work well together and it can cause some people to not be able to comment on your blog. Just a heads up :)

  4. I love my kids unconditionally! I just had this conversation with my daughter last night. She is 25 and still does things that I don't altogether approve of (tattoos... there I said it) But that certainly doesn't mean I love her any less.
